TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENCOUNTER TURKEY TOURS TRAVEL AGENCY

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms of the contract between you (the client) and Turkey Tours Travel Agency (the company). By booking your trip with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 To secure your booking, a deposit (usually 33.3% and sometimes %50 of the total tour cost) or full payment is required at the time of booking.

1.2 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 5 to 4 weeks prior to departure.

1.3 Late bookings (within 60 days of departure) will require immediate full payment at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation and Refund
2.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or letter).

2.2 Cancellation fees are as follows:

60 days or more prior to departure – loss of deposit
30-59 days prior to departure – 50% of total tour cost
15-29 days prior to departure – 75% of total tour cost
14 days or less prior to departure – No refund will be provided
2.3 No refunds will be given for any unused services or early departures.

3. Changes by the Company
3.1 Although we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our tour descriptions and itineraries, changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

3.2 The company reserves the right to amend, alter, or cancel any tour or the tour itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions, security issues, or governmental restrictions.

3.3 In the event that a tour is cancelled before departure due to circumstances beyond our control, an alternative tour will be provided, or a full refund will be given.

4. Insurance
4.1 It is your responsibility to arrange appropriate travel insurance before your trip. The insurance policy must cover medical expenses, personal injury, death, and emergency repatriation.

4.2 The company will not be held liable or responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during the tour, which are not covered by your travel insurance policy.

5. Travel Documents
5.1 It is your responsibility to obtain all necessary travel documents, such as a valid passport and required visas.

5.2 The company is not responsible for any costs incurred or delays due to incomplete or incorrect travel documents.

6. Health and Safety
6.1 Travelers must be in good physical health and disclose any pre-existing medical conditions to the company prior to booking.

6.2 The company reserves the right to decline any booking or require additional health-related documentation if it is deemed that a client may not be fit for travel.

6.3 The company is not liable for any health-related issues that arise during the tour or any medical assistance required.

7. Complaints
7.1 If you have any complaints about the services provided during the tour, please address them immediately to the tour leader or our local representative. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

7.2 If the issue remains unresolved, a written complaint must be sent to the company within 14 days of the tour’s completion.
