Tour Program

Day 1 – Traveling to Trabzon – (D)
AM Pickup from your hotel in Istanbul, transfer to the domestic airport
Flight to Trabzon,
Arrive in Trabzon, a port city on the Black Sea coast, and transfer to your hotel. After settling in, start your tour by visiting the Hagia Sophia Museum, an ancient Byzantine church that has been preserved as a mosque.

Next, explore the Atatürk Villa, a beautiful mansion where the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, stayed in 1930 during his inspection of Trabzon. Take in the stunning views of the city and the sea from its hilltop location.
Rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 2 – Day Trip to Sumela Monastery and Karaca Cave – (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel
09:30 am Meet up with your driver guide and continue on a scenic drive into the country side to visit to the Sumela Monastery, a 1,600-year-old Greek Orthodox monastery perched dramatically on a cliffside amidst the Kaçkar Mountains. Explore the ancient halls, chapels, and frescoes, and enjoy breathtaking views of the lush valley below.
Delicioius lunch in a local restaurant.
Next, head to the Karaca Cave, known as the “Crystal Palace” due to its stunning formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Take a guided tour of this magnificent natural wonder and learn about its geological history.
Return to the hotel & Overnight in Trabzon.

Day 3 – Traveling Rize and Ayder Plateau – (B/L/D)

09:30 am Meet up with your driver guide and continue on a scenic drive towards East to Rize, known for its stunning tea plantations and breathtaking landscapes.
Visit the Rize Castle, a 14th-century fortress that offers panoramic views of the city and the Black Sea.
Next, explore the Fırtına Valley, a picturesque valley that cuts through the Kaçkar Mountains. Take in the lush greenery, rushing streams, and charming wooden houses that dot the landscape.
In the afternoon, visit the Çayeli Copper Works, a historic copper mine that has been converted into a museum. Learn about the region’s mining history and discover the processes used to extract copper from the earth.
Check into your hotel, free time to rest and refreshing.
Dinner at the hotel & Overnight in Ayder.

Day 4 – Traveling to Artvin- Savsat – (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel
09:00 am Meet up with your driver guide and continue on a scenic drive towards East to Rize, known for its stunning tea plantations and breathtaking landscapes.
Visit the Rize Castle, a 14th-century fortress that offers panoramic views of the city and the Black Sea.
Next, continue our drive further East to Artvin, where will stop for lunch.
Then continue our drive to Savsat.
Arrival, check in and enjoy rest of the day at leisure.
Dinner at the hotel & Overnight in Savsat.

Day 5 – Savsat – (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel
Start the day visiting the breathtaking Karagöl-Sahara National Park, known for its stunning lakes, dense forests, and majestic mountains.
Enjoy Picnic lunch
Take a hike in the national park, enjoying the tranquility of nature and the remarkable views.
Dinner and overnight in Savsat.

Day 6 – Traveling to Georgia (Tbilisi) – (B)
Breakfast at the hotel (07to 09 am)
09:00 am Start, 2 hours’ drive to Aktas Border of Turkey.
Say good by to your Turkish Driver Guide
Cross the Turkey/ Georgia Border.
Meet your Georgian Driver.
Another 2-hour 30 minute drive to Tbilisi.
Arrival in Tbilisi, check into your hotel.
Overnight stay.

Day 7 – (Exploring Tbilisi) – (B)
Breakfast at the hotel (07to 09 am)
Meet up with your guide and enjoy 4 hour, introductory tour of Tbilisi
Explore the fascinating landmarks and hidden gems of Tbilisi, including Metekhi Church, the Monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, the statue of Mother of Georgia, the Narikala Fortress, and the sulfur baths district. Embark on a guided tour, ride the cable car, and taste traditional pie.
Your journey starts once you meet your guide in front of the Avlabari Metro Station entrance. Enjoy a pleasant walk through the old street to Metekhi Church. From there, you will continue to explore the city and hear about the history and origins of Tbilisi. As you walk through the old Shardeni Street, you will discover an open-air market, Sioni Church, and the unique clock tower of the Puppet Theatre Rezo Gabriadze. Continue onto the Anchiskhati Church and over the Bridge of Peace to reach Rike Park. Here, enjoy the opportunity to travel by cable car and get to the great monument of the Mother of Georgia.
Then descend from the mountain through the narrow streets to the Narikala Fortress.
After you visit the sulfur baths district, you will walk to the waterfall, located in the center of the city.
End of the tour, return to the hotel

Day 8 – Jvari Monastery, Ananuri, Gudauri, and Kazbegi) – (B)
Breakfast at the hotel (07to 09 am)
Start your tour at Jvari Monastery, a 6th-century orthodox monastery near Mtskheta. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the monastery stands on a rocky mountain above the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking Mtskheta, the old capital of Georgia. Continue to Zhinvali Water Reservoir, located on the Georgian Military Highway. Learn the history of this Soviet dam, constructed in the 1980s. Then, arrive at the Ananuri Fortress, the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi.
Discover the intriguing plots of this feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. Explore the site of numerous historic battles and take in the magnificent scenery — ideal for landscape photography. After Ananuri Fortress, have lunch in Pasanauri, the homeland of the most famous traditional Georgian food, Khinkali. Admire the Friendship Monument of Georgian and Russian people in Gudauri.
Located on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri ski resort and the Jvari Pass, the memorial consists of a large round stone arch and concrete structure overlooking the Devil’s Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Then, arrive at Kazbegi, and explore one of the most beautiful places in Georgia: Gergeti Trinity Church. The church is located under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level, and offers spectacular panoramic views of the entire valley.
End of the tour, return to the hotel

Day 10 – Traveling to Yerevan Armenia – (B)
Breakfast at the hotel (07to 09 am)
Meet up with the driver, and depart from Tbilisi on a all day long journey to Yerevan Armenia.
After crossing the border, first visit will the the Akhtala Monastery, a church from the 12th century which contains beautiful frescoes and is surrounded by copper smelting caves as well as a copper smelting factory. The second destination of the tour is the Haghpat Monastery, located in Haghpat Village and is a UNESCO-listed site. It is one of the most beautiful medieval masterpieces in Armenia. Then you can have lunch and try some traditional Armenian food. Following lunch, you’ll make 3 stops on your way to visit the second UNESCO Heritage Site, Sanahin.

The first will be a 13th-century bridge, the second for a Debed canyon with astonishing views, and the third for the Mikoyan Brothers’ museum, where an original aircraft (MiG 21) will surprise you.

From here we will continue our drive to Yerevan, arrival, check into your hotel
Overnight stay.

Day 11 – Yerevan, Armenia – (B)

We start our walking tour from your hotel and exploring A gem in the city. Filled with books, journals related to design and photography, and a bar and gallery, the space is peaceful and amazing.
– Walk to statue of Garegin Nzhdeh(key political and military leader of the First Republic of Armenia (1918-1921)) – Vernissage open air market – Visit to “Republic Square” metro station(soviet modernist architecture and stories about Yerevan metro) – Andrei Sakharov square( Russian nuclear physicist also activist for peace and human rights) – Walk to Egor Khanzadyan’s house(built 1895) – Walk in Abovyan street(oldest street of Yerevan) – Opera House – Statue of Hovhannes Tumanyan(Armenian famous writer) – Walk to Cascade Stairs(giant stairway made of limestone which afford unobstructed views of central Yerevan and Mount Ararat.

Day 12 – Exploring Garni-Geghard – (B)

You will be picked up from your hotel where the tour will start at 10:00 am and last approximately 4 to 5-hours. The first stop is Garni, a Pagan Temple referred to as the well-known symbol of pre-Christian Armenia that was converted into a royal summer house. After exploring the grand structure, you will then stop at Ararat ARC where you’ll have a fantastic view to Mount Ararat, a snowcapped dormant volcano situated in Turkey. From here, you will visit the UNESCO listed Geghard Monastery Complex. Some of the churches are situated in caves, whilst others are dug out of the surrounding rock surface. You will then be transferred back to Yerevan.

Day 13 – Yerevan Free day – (B)
